How do I add my child to a team?
Ask the coach for the team's code. In Tamarin, tap Join your team (or + on the Teams tab), enter the code and your child's first name. The coach sets the team's sport and writes the schedule.
How do I say my child isn't coming?
Tap the check beside the session; it turns into a red cross. For Running late, open the session and choose how late. The coach sees it, with your reason if you add one. Tap again to undo.
I have a new phone. How do I keep my account?
On the old phone, verify your mobile number or email in Profile → Edit profile. On the new phone, choose Sign in with phone or email on the first screen and enter the 6-digit code you are sent. Without a verified number or email, an account stays on the phone it was made on.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check that notifications are allowed for Tamarin in iOS Settings, and that Remind me before events is on in Profile. Reminders are never sent between 10 PM and 7 AM; one due in that time comes at 9:30 the evening before.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete my account and data. You're shown what will be removed before you confirm. It can't be undone.
Coaches
How do I join my club?
Ask the club's owner or an admin for the club code. In Tamarin Captain, choose Join a club on the welcome screen or in Profile, and enter it. Then create your team in that club.
How do parents join my team?
Open the team and share its code. A parent enters it in Tamarin with their child's name; you never add a child yourself.
Who can change a player's shirt number or emergency contact?
The club: its owner and admins, in the club console. Coaches see them on the player's page.
Clubs
How do I set up a club?
Open the club console and sign in with the mobile number or email you verified in Tamarin Captain — or create an account there with your email or number. Then fill in Set up a club, choose Create club, and share the club code with your coaches.
How do I make someone an admin?
In the console, open Coaches, choose the coach, and turn on Club admin. Only the owner can name admins and change the club code.
How do I hand the club to someone else?
Make them an admin first, then open their page in Coaches and choose Transfer ownership. You stay on as an admin.
